AGSI Donates 20 Trees Celebrating 20 Years in Business

June 18 will be a special day for Angus GeoSolutions Inc. – the 20th anniversary of our beginning as a strategic technology and information solutions company.

Since 1993, AGSI has helped to empower governments, utilities, telecommunications companies, emergency services organizations and the agri-food industry to make better, more informed decisions.

AGSI uses its technologies, expertise and services to create secure, web-based solutions for collecting, verifying, and managing the highest quality of location information needed to support business critical functions – in real time.

We are proud to have been part of the Halton Region business community since the company’s inception. AGSI is a values-driven corporate citizen and we have always invested resources into our community to bring hope, compassion and entertainment to our world outside of work.

In that spirit our staff will be travelling to the Heart Lake Conservation Area on June 18 to plant 20 trees. Heart Lake is part of the Toronto and Region Conservation Area (TRCA), one of our clients, which has implemented the Spill Decision Support System using our Go360 technology to track and control chemical spills.

“As the saying goes ‘ The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The next best time is now ’,” says President and CEO Chris Cameron.

“AGSI began twenty years ago, and today we are still investing in our company and technologies for the future. AGSI expects to announce a number of new beginnings in 2013. We are pleased that TRCA and other clients will be joining us in our community celebration.”
